Meanwhile, new signing Mika Baur scored his first goal for Celtic, helping to maintain the champions’ perfect record in their title defense with a 1-0 win against St Johnstone.

The German midfielder found the net early in the second half after a superb save from Hoops goalkeeper Sam Johnstone denied St Johnstone’s Joel Cotterill from scoring in the first half.
